Artist Moves to Alabama

Updated: Mar 6, 2020

Hello All,

I am back in the south! The fam and I have moved to Montgomery, Alabama, and it is so lovely to be back. Maine was an enjoyable experience. It is beautiful up there, but I am pleased not to be there this winter, ’cause man, they are rough. Montgomery is familiar but new to us. There is Spanish Moss in the live oak trees, and there is a palm tree in my backyard, it is terrific. The Montgomery Museum of Fine Art and the Alabama Shakespeare Festival are quite impressive. If you are ever here, you should check them out. I have also seen a few art shows, been to some galleries, and toured an art walk. I’m pleasantly surprised by the art community, and I hope to see more.

Now that I’m resettled and have my studio together, I have begun some new work. One of my latest endeavors has been to set up my print shop. I have paper, canvas, and even instant downloads available in my new print shop. So come by my site and check it out.

I have found some great printing companies to handle my art prints. I am delighted with the quality of work they do. You can choose from a range of sizes and decided to have you print framed. Also, I have instant downloads for $10.00 each. When you purchase one, you will receive a link to download a high-resolution jpeg of my artwork, where you can print from home or have a professional do it. You can have it printed on whatever you want, as many times as you like. Just remember this is copyrighted material; no resale, please.

I’m also excited to announce my latest works on paper using mix media. These are smaller pieces, as compared to my previous work. I use a range of supplies, including graphite, charcoal, pastels, watercolor, ink, gouache, and color pencils. I started as a young artist using these materials, and I am having fun using them again. Down below is a photo of one.

Each week I’ll be adding these new works and prints to the shop. I’ll post on my social media when they are available, so keep an eye out for that. If you would like to follow me, find the icon down below. Also, I’ll be bringing my monthly newsletter back, which will include the month's progress in case you missed the posts, so please sign up for the newsletter to stay informed of all the latest happenings.
